I have not left a legacy of suffering and I promise that I never will

I hereby pledge never to leave any money or property in my will to those charities that fund or conduct animal research. I have checked the organisations to whom I have left bequests and am confident that they are humane.

I want to see an end to disease and suffering, but do not believe that animal research is the way forward (on ethical or scientific grounds). My legacy will be one of sound science and compassion.
