The shooting industry breeds up to 60 million pheasants and partridges every year, just to shoot them for ‘fun’. In addition to the suffering of pheasants and partridges, releasing millions of birds has terrible consequences for wildlife and the environment.

Animal Aid is calling for a total ban on the breeding, release and killing of pheasants and partridges for the shooting industry.
