Ask your MP to support a ban on the import and sale of fur and foie gras

In June 2024, the Labour Party confirmed that, if elected in the General Election, it would ban the importation of foie gras produced by force-feeding. An earlier pledge, made in 2018, saw the Party commit to banning the import of fur, rightly stating that the trade “relies upon the suffering of animals abroad”.

The degree of cruelty involved in the production of both fur and foie gras is appalling and unnecessary, which is why both practices are banned in the UK.

Please ask your MP to support the next step of banning the import and sale of fur and foie gras. Thank you.
